Substantial focus is being put on real estate law, where we offer broad experience in advising clients on all types of transactions involving real estate assets throughout their entire life cycle.

Our company’s knowledge is anchored in the experience and cooperation of our partners and attorneys. Quoting a client of ours:

Lubomír Vais

Founder and co-owner of EBM Group

For most of my professional life, at certain stages of a negotiation, either I or the business partner on the other side of the table needed legal services. In the vast majority of cases, the engagement of lawyers was the beginning of the most difficult period in a business relationship, where a narrow legal perspective, determined also by the level of our legislation and the business (in)experience of legal service providers, even with reputable legal firms, brought an otherwise promising business relationship to the brink of feasibility.

This experience of mine ended with the engagement of attorneys from RSP Legal, where we could rely at every moment not only on their knowledge of legal theory but also on their experience in the business environment and their ability to have the necessary empathy in relation to the intentions of the parties in the business negotiations. The ability to always look for the best "win-win" model of the relationship even in a complex legislative environment while at the same time protecting the client's interests is what I appreciate most about RSP Legal's work, and I hope that they will keep it up.

Instructions to the client - consumer

According to the current wording of Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, the parties to a contract for the provision of legal services are given the option of out-of-court settlement of any dispute between the lawyer and the consumer - client, unless they themselves agree on a mutually acceptable compromise, for example, in a situation where the client is not satisfied with the manner of handling a "complaint" or with its rejection by the legal service provider - the lawyer. The role of mediator in this case is assigned to the Czech Bar Association.

Contact details: Czech Bar Association, Národní tř. 16, 110 00 Prague 1, e-mail: epodatelna@cak.cz; mailbox ID: n69admd.

The Czech Bar Association is the mediator of negotiations between the consumer and the lawyer in cases where the Czech Bar Association is contacted by consumers with a request for an out-of-court settlement of a dispute with the lawyer - the service provider. The out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes is free of charge and the parties themselves bear the costs associated with it. The consumer may submit a request for the initiation of out-of-court proceedings within 1 year of the date on which he first exercised his right which is the subject of the dispute with the lawyer.

The out-of-court settlement of a consumer dispute will be initiated upon the consumer's proposal, which must include the following information: identification of the parties to the dispute, a full and comprehensible statement of the relevant facts, an indication of what the claimant is seeking, the date on which the claimant first asserted his/her right which is the subject of the dispute with a lawyer, a statement that the matter has not been decided by a court, no arbitral award has been issued and no agreement has been concluded between the parties in the framework of the out-of-court settlement of the consumer dispute, nor have court proceedings, arbitration proceedings or out-of-court settlement of the consumer dispute been initiated pursuant to the Consumer Protection Act, the date and signature of the claimant (consumer). The application must be accompanied by proof that the consumer has not been able to resolve the dispute directly with the other party and other documents proving the facts alleged, if available (if the claimant is represented by a power of attorney, the power of attorney shall also be included in the application).
